I plan to run the Flora London Marathon 2007 and raise sponsorship money for two Charities, NoviMost International (NMI) and The National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS).
The NDCS is the only UK charity solely dedicated to providing support, information and advice for deaf children and young people, their families and professionals working with them. The NDCS is a registered charity (no. 1016532). NoviMost International (NMI) http://www.novimost.org, is a “Christian charitable organisation which works with young people in Bosnia Herzegovina to help them overcome the effects of the past, to equip them to enter their futures with hope and confidence, and to empower them to become instruments of transformation in their communities”. NMI is a registered charity (no. 1043501).
1. I became a member of the NDCS after my wife Rachel and I discovered that our first son Micah Luke Langford Thomas was moderate to severely deaf at the age of 8 months. The NDCS and others, in the Deaf Community and around us, have helped us greatly for which I am so thankful. Micah is now 4, wears hearing aids and is progressing really well in his Signing (Sign Language) and speech (English) in his Nursery.
2. I am a Trustee of NoviMost International after being asked to join the NoviMost Board by the director Gill back in the September of 2004. Prior to becoming a Trustee I had been associated with NoviMost after a number of visits to Mostar in Bosnia Herzegovina doing Sports and Children Camps since Camp Rio in 1999.

Filling in a Sponsorship form: Print out and complete the enclosed pdf Sponsorship form as required. Cheques should be made payable to the dove trust and sent together with your completed form to the administration office at the address given.
All monies received will be divided equally between the two charities (NMI and NDCS). The dove trust (charity No. 287401) are administering the sponsoring scheme.
